Please email sarah.maguire@societe-jersiaise.org for more information on the teaching sessions we have availalbe. For help, resources and teaching with your Eco Club please visit Eco Schools page.

Sessions last from 50minutes to 2hours for practical surveys. Each Jersey school gets one free teaching session per school year, all other sessions are £25.00. This costing covers the teaching and is put towards conservation projects such as Toad Watch.

Universities:

There is a wide variety of wildlife on Jersey and with our help, we can get your students involved in ecological surveying. We focus mainly on insects and fresh water invertebrates, but there are opportunities for bird watching, butterfly surveying and trips to spot the Green Lizard. Get a full feel for the different types of ecological surveys with the help from local experts as well as seeing some amazing scenery on the island. We can run session from 13:30-evening Monday to Sunday.

Forest School:

Wanting to get your classes involved with nature and the outdoors? By far the best way is through Forest School. If you don't have a forest school practitioner we can provide teaching sessions for 50minutes for £25.00, each Jersey school gets one free taught session per year. If you want to get outdoors but need assistance with planning we can offer you advice on activities and also new areas in Jersey to explore with your forest school group.
